TEHRAN A coin belonging to the Sultan Bahador Khan period was unearthed during construction of the Khaneqah Dam.

The director general of the Zanjan Cultural Heritage Office, Mohammad Bahramzadeh, said on Sunday that the coin bore the inscription Al-Sultan A'zam Abu Saeed Bahadorkhan (the Great King Abu Saeed Bahadorkhan) and the date 725 A.H. [lunar calendar] .

An archaeological team also discovered the ruins of buildings, pottery shards, and one coin bearing a design.
